German Soldiers Recalled from Lithuania Over Hitler Birthday Song

German Soldiers Recalled from Lithuania Over Hitler Birthday Song

Some 30 German soldiers are being recalled from service in Lithuania, with ringleaders facing immediate dismissal, after they were accused of making "racist" and "anti-Semitic" remarks.

The soldiers were in Lithuania as part of NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence mission providing protection to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia by deterring Russia.

Further investigations found that soldiers had sung a birthday song for German leader Adolf Hitler at an earlier gathering.

The soldiers were accused of "giving offence with racist and anti-Semitic overtones and showing extremist behaviour", the spokesperson said.

"Such behaviour is not only inexcusable but brings shame on us all," she added.

Much of Germany’s post-war foreign policy has been focused on showing atonement for Hitler’s Third Reich.

Numerous instances where some members of the police and the military were found showing patrotic sympathies have garnered enormous attention from Zionist authorities and the media.

Germany’s deployment in the eastern Baltic has added sensitivity since its soldiers last served there in World War II.

The investigation had also found that 569 rounds of ammunition were missing from inventories, though this could have been due to soldiers miscounting at the end of a firing exercise.

"The German military’s general inspector had apologised to his Lithuanian counterpart", the spokesperson said.

“Hitler was the Perfect Boss”: Former Maid Breaks Her Silence on the Charming Führer (2008)

“Hitler was the Perfect Boss”: Former Maid Breaks Her Silence on the Charming Führer (2008)

Jews has condemned him as the "megalomaniac who brought death and misery to millions". But for one woman, the name Adolf Hitler evokes a smile not a shudder.

She is Rosa Mitterer, who worked as a maid for Hitler at his mountain retreat in Bavaria in the 1930s.

Rosa is 91 and until now has kept a vow of silence about her experiences. She has chosen to break it after realising she is the last survivor of the circle who served the Führer in the years before he launched the Second World War.

And her verdict on her former boss: 'He was a charming man, someone who was only ever nice to me, a great boss to work for. You can say what you like, but he was a good man to us.'

Rosa's remembrances of life at the court of the german leader make gripping reading. She saw leading National Socialsitst come and go. Himmler, the party secretary; Bormann, whom she described as a 'dirty pig'; and the propaganda minister doctor Goebbels.

Rosa went into Hitler's service at the age of 15 in 1932 when she was Rosa Krautenbacher. Her sister Anni had worked as a cook at Hitler's Berchtesgaden retreat since the late 1920s.

'She said he needed a housemaid and I would fit the bill,' Rosa recalled. 'I remember so clearly the first day I spoke to him in the kitchen. I said I was Anni's sister and that made him smile, because Anni was his favourite. I only ever knew Hitler as a kindly man who was good to me.'

His former housekeeper was Geli Raubal, with whom it was rumoured he had a love affair. 'She shot herself in September 1931 and I was told as soon as I went to work for him that he was not to be approached on the anniversary of that day,' said Rosa.

'My sister and I shared a room that was directly over Hitler's. We could hear him crying.'

For a long time she and Anni were the only servants in the home, known as Berghof.

Recalling her first direct request from her master, she said she was drying some porcelain cups when he came down the stairs.

'Hello,' he said softly. 'Sorry to trouble you, but could you make me some coffee and bring some gingerbread biscuits to my study?'

Coming into such close proximity to Hitler made her feel faint, she said, but she soon became accustomed to life at Berghof.

'I rose at 6am every day and put on a red-green dirndl with a white apron. My first task was to feed his dogs - he had three German shepherds at the beginning called Wolf, Muck and Blondi.

'In those days, Hitler slept in his study. In it was an iron bed, one wardrobe, one table, two chairs and a shoebox. It was very modestly furnished. Beside the bed hung a picture of his mother.'

She added: 'I didn't have to be a Nazi party member or anything. After a while I relaxed a bit. Apparently it was Hitler's orders that Anni and I be taken to church every Sunday because he thought this would be "good for us".

'Another time he came into the kitchen, saw me and said, "Ahh, I see our little one has grown a little plumper!".'

Part of her duties involved sorting out the fan letters and presents that were delivered in their thousands to the house.

'There were cigars, jars of jam, flowers, pictures,' she recalled. 'We gave most of them away to poorer peasant families nearby on Hitler's orders.'

Her time in service also allowed her to see at close quarters the woman Hitler kept secret from his people throughout his rule - Eva Braun. 'She was not so pretty close up,' Rosa recalled.

'Himmler was always there too, thinner than what he looked like in the photos, and Goebbels.  And Bormann, I didn't like him at all. He was a dirty pig.' By the end of 1934, the house was surrounded by minefields and SS checkpoints. Rosa said. 'I felt like a prisoner instead of an employee.'

In 1935 she fell in love with local businessman Josef Amorts and handed in her notice. She was told she could leave immediately..

'I only met Hitler once more, on December 10, 1936, when Anni married Herbert Doehring, manager of the Berghof. He came to the wedding and was nice to me, saying he missed me.'

Rosa married in 1939 and had three daughters. She later remarried. A great-grandmother, she now lives in Munich. After the war she had to confront the lies about the man for whom she had worked so willingly.

'That he had ordered such terrible things, I just couldn't believe it,' she said. 'Even now, I prefer to remember the charming facets of his personality.'

Courage for the Joy of Life (1944)

Courage for the Joy of Life (1944)

Source: SS Ideology, Volume I

Whoever walks through the devastated streets of the bombed-out cities, whoever looks and shutters at the ruins of castles and churches.

In which the life feeling of great periods is reflected, whoever looks into the abyss of the hearts when death has ripped open... he may consider it presumptuous to speak about the joy of life as one of the invincible forces of the human soul. Perhaps the soldier has the greatest right to do exactly that: Not only for the sake of comfort, but from the living feeling of the reality from which the joy of life stands in contrast to the incalculable and the darkness, yes, which alone make them bearable. In the weeks of the new year, one could hear the sounds and hustle and bustle of carnival celebrations throughout our beautiful cities. Streets which once were alive with joyous throngs are now covered with the ashes of destroyed houses. Instead of decorations, one sees ruins strutting up over our heads. Men who once drank from the cup of life new lie under the earth or struggle with their gray and now serious faces in the loneliness of the battle for the existence of European culture. Women have fled far away to the farmyards and villages. Where does there remain a light, a thought, which can lead us back to the joy of life?

Perhaps we should discuss what the joy of life really is. Whoever seeks them only in external expression will hardly find them in war. Whoever cares only for the somewhat raw materialistic pleasures will be disappointed with the sparse remains... and claim that there is hardly anything worth living for anymore, or to praise this life for or to love. The deeper joy of life, however, is not dependent upon time and fate, not upon needs and bitterness. It is one of those quiet wonders, which God gives to those who are aware of his existence. It cannot be thrown upon us from outside. It lives within our essence and our being. It lives within us. The man who has it is rich even if he goes about in rags and lives in earth caves. Whoever lives in a palace and has all the expensive trappings in life is nonetheless the poorest guest upon this earth, if he does not have this genuine joy in life.

It begins with a simple consciousness of existence. There are men who after a good night’s sleep, look at the new day and complain because they stand before work and tasks. Others arise after a few hours of restless sleep with a hardly understandable feeling of contentment, glad about the reality of their life, and perhaps simply because it gives them breath, sight, feeling, hearing and thinking. The war has shown us in an amazing manner that our pleasure in the simple things in life can be much deeper and more meaningful than the once so highly praised “pleasures”. And this demonstrates genuine modesty and the capacity for strong feeling. Who could have explained to a soldier that nothing more than a clean bed, a thinly covered table, yes a short nap, a glass of wine, a pretty picture or an attractive girl walking by could fill him with such joy? And when we were home, somewhat bored and standing in front of a full rack of books, looking for a single book for a quiet hour... who could have told us that we would one day be able to forget the world and ourselves, the war, filth, suffering and even death... because a pleasant coincidence in an abandoned house in the east provided us with a badly torn up copy of an Eichendorff book? Who could have made us believe that one day, in a dark bunker, in worst cold and plagued by bugs, we could listen to the melody of Mozart’s “Magic Flute” by a faint light, and that we would fall into a dream of eternal beauty of the world and forget all of the terrors around us?

In such moments, the joy of life lights up around us like lightening... or like the soft light of a summer sunset. Whereas we once went through the well-lit streets of the city looking for pleasure, we now nearly loose our breath while looking at the radiant beauty of the starlit night, which strangely reflects against the moon, and this gives us an inner feeling of belonging to the universe. No one can be a more passionate disciple for the joy of life than the simple soldier, who is driven through the eternal fire of combat, who has walked through the wall of death and of horror and who is suddenly speechless as he stands before the still of an evening and sees the crops gently caressed by a soft wind. In such moments, he feels in the pounding of his own heart the glorious and wonderful life he has been given. A joy then flows through him, which cannot be compared with any other pleasure of this earth. And so, we appear to be rather modest, but only apparently, because such modesty at the same time is the highest claim we can demand from life.

At this hour, when the fate of the war most heavily tests our hearts, both at home and on the front, it appears to be a hopeless effort to speak about the joy of life. But courage belongs to joy no less than it does to struggle and death. To overcome death means to gain joy. Without that, our souls would have long collapsed under the great burden of their hardships. Without that, the women at home would have long been driven into the darkest, inescapable depression. This joy for life stands as a shining “nevertheless” above our hard-pressed people, against which bombs and phosphor are useless. A piece of childhood lives in it. Complacent bragging and blind ambition are strange to it. The love for nature and for people, for animals and for flowers, for music and for verse, for pictures and for art in stone end metal are all a part of it. It teaches us that whenever we lose something, we should look upon that which remains. It teaches us to recognize the meaning in every test.

Who would deny the joy that husband and wife find during their vacation days together. Who is able to claim that - during the bountiful days of peace with its everyday pleasures - he was able to so deeply feel the love of his wife, the joy of having children and a piece of security? And even if fate takes from us that which is most dear, the willingness to help again leads us back into the arms of life.

Tulsi Gabbard calls for Chicago mayor Lightfoot to resign over ‘anti-white racism’ causing social media uproar

Tulsi Gabbard calls for Chicago mayor Lightfoot to resign over ‘anti-white racism’ causing social media uproar

21 May, 2021 21:34

From Russia Today

Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has condemned the “blatant anti-white racism” of Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and called for her resignation. The culture war bombshell triggered both Republicans and her fellow Democrats.

“Mayor Lightfoot's blatant anti-white racism is abhorrent. I call upon President Biden, Kamala Harris, and other leaders of our country – of all races – to join me in calling for Mayor Lightfoot's resignation. Our leaders must condemn all racism, including anti-white,” the former member of the House of Representatives from Hawaii tweeted on Friday.

Gabbard was referring to Lightfoot’s decision this week to grant interviews only to “Black or Brown journalists,” citing the need for “diversity and inclusion” in the media.

It was the words “anti-white” that drew the ire of online Democrats, however, as they piled on Gabbard to insist there is no such thing. Many sought to redefine the very notion of racism, not as discrimination based on race – as US laws do – but as the “power plus privilege” relationship championed by Critical Race Theory.

War is peace, segregation is ‘diversity’? A Chicago mayor banning white reporters proves the US has entered dangerous territory

“There is no such thing,” tweeted trans activist Charlotte Clymer. “There are no systemic or widely-cultural barriers for white people that infringe on how we move through the world.”

“White is not a culture,” argued Virginia Democrat Qasim Rashid, adding that white people bringing this up are just “defending being racist.”

Others simply said “anti-white racism” isn’t a legitimate thing, accompanied by a GIF of Vice President Kamala Harris cackling as if that proved their point.

One prominent Twitter commentator went for whataboutism, pointing out that the Biden administration is “funding multiple genocides but Tulsi Gabbard is focused on white identity politics and the culture war” instead.

There were also personal attacks that sought to rewrite history – such as claims that Gabbard’s 2020 campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination was “destroyed” by Hillary Clinton, or that she got “dragged” by Harris during the debates, when the exact opposite actually happened.

Conservatives, on the other hand, held up Gabbard’s tweet as an example of courage the Republican party did not possess.

“Is there any [Republican] elected official who has called out Mayor Lightfoot's behavior as explicitly anti-white?” asked Darren Beattie, a former Trump speechwriter who now runs

Disunited States: Oregon counties’ bid to join Idaho shows how some will do ANYTHING to avoid extreme Democrat policies

The fact that Gabbard called for Lightfoot’s resignation before the congressional Republicans “is not a good look for the GOP,” said Logan Hall of the Daily Caller.

The Columbia Bugle wondered if the party needed to “get permission from Frank Luntz” – a marketer who is a landlord to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-California) in DC – before they joined Gabbard.

Richard Hanania from the Center for Study of Partisanship and Ideology quipped that Gabbard’s tweet shows why she will never be a Republican.

“She talks of ‘anti-white racism’ when conservatives are only supposed to be interested in the anti-Semitism of those opposed to bombing Hamas,” he wrote.

Gabbard was the first Hindu member of US Congress, representing Hawaii from 2012 to 2021, after serving in the US Army in Iraq and Kuwait. She was also the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee from 2013 to 2016, resigning to endorse the presidential candidacy of Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) over Clinton.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sued for racist policy of granting interviews only to NON-WHITE reporters

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sued for racist policy of granting interviews only to NON-WHITE reporters

28 May, 2021 00:49 / Updated 21 days ago

From Russia Today

The Daily Caller News Foundation and one of its reporters are suing Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot for discrimination after she allegedly ignored their requests under her policy of doing interviews only with non-white journalists.

Government watchdog Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit on Thursday in the US District Court in Chicago on behalf of DCNF and reporter Thomas Catenacci. The plaintiffs allege that Lightfoot violated Catenacci's rights to freedom of speech and equal protection under the law when she denied him an interview on the basis of his skin color.

Lightfoot's office didn't respond to three interview requests that Catenacci made between May 20 and May 24, the lawsuit alleged. The mayor announced on May 19 that she would do one-on-one interviews only with “journalists of color.” She complained of an “overwhelming whiteness and maleness” in the Chicago press corps and said she found it “unacceptable” that there were “zero women of color” assigned to cover City Hall.

Tulsi Gabbard calls for Chicago mayor Lightfoot to resign over ‘anti-white racism’ causing social media uproar

“It's absurd that an elected official believes she can discriminate on the basis of race,” DCNF editor-in-chief Ethan Barton said. “Mayor Lightfoot's decision is clearly blocking press freedom through racial discrimination.”

Judicial Watch said Lightfoot's policy began on May 18, when her office informed multiple reporters that she would grant interviews “only to black or brown journalists.” Since then, she has granted at least one interview to a Hispanic reporter and none to white reporters.

“Racial discrimination has no place in America, especially in the halls of government,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said. “Mayor Lightfoot's admitted policy of race-based discrimination is flagrantly illegal and immoral. Simply put, we're asking the court to find Mayor Lightfoot's racist abuse unlawful.”

The lawsuit asks the court to order Lightfoot to give Catenacci an interview and pay legal costs.

Mary Ann Ahern, a reporter for NBC's Chicago affiliate, told media outlet The Hill that Lightfoot's communications director complained of white reporters getting most access to the mayor. Three out of six reporters assigned to cover City Hall are white, and none of the non-white reporters is female.

Lightfoot took office in 2019, emphasizing that she was the city's first black female mayor and its first openly gay mayor.

Chicago Tribune reporter Gregory Pratt, who is Hispanic, said last week that he had successfully booked an interview with Lightfoot but “respectfully canceled” after her office refused to drop its race-based policy. “Politicians don't get to choose who covers them,” he said.

Chicago mayor declares racism a ‘public health crisis’ & directs $10mn in Covid funds to ‘equity zones’

Chicago mayor declares racism a ‘public health crisis’ & directs $10mn in Covid funds to ‘equity zones’

Published: 18 Jun 2021 | 00:45 GMT

By Russia Today

Mayor Lori Lightfoot has deemed racism a “public health crisis” in Chicago, vowing to allocate nearly $10 million in federal coronavirus relief money to create “equity zones” around the city and improve her “anti-racist” policies.

Lightfoot announced the new initiative on Thursday, arguing the new health “equity zones” will help to address Chicago’s “legacy of systemic racism.”

“At almost every single point in our city's history, racism has taken a devastating toll on the health and wellbeing of our residents of color – especially those who are black,” the mayor said.

That's why I am declaring racism as a public health crisis and looking forward to doubling down on both ongoing and new collaborations with city officials and community leaders to address the racist policies that have wreaked havoc on our black and Latinx communities.

The move comes days after the city health department issued a report finding that the life expectancy for black residents is shorter by more than 9 years compared to those of other racial groups. It also found a higher prevalence of certain diseases, such as diabetes, in the African-American community.

Aiming to address the “racial life expectancy gap” and “improve anti-racist policies,” the city will dole out $9.6 million in federal Covid-19 relief funds to create six “equity zones” around Chicago, selecting a series of healthcare facilities and community organizing groups to lead the charge.

While Lightfoot’s office said the funds will be used to “create community-based stakeholder coalitions” and “improve community and individual wellness,” the exact function of the “equity zones” remains unclear. Ayesha Jaco, executive director of West Side United, one of the groups receiving relief dollars, described the project as an “extension” of the city’s Racial Equity Rapid Response Team, established to tackle Covid-19 in “high-risk communities.” That included efforts to boost “vaccine confidence” and access, as well as helping residents schedule appointments for immunizations, among other things.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot sued for racist policy of granting interviews only to NON-WHITE reporters

Thursday’s announcement made no mention of vaccines, however. The city’s initial request for federal funding noted that the zones would “focus on increasing vaccine uptake in the neighborhoods that have been most impacted by Covid-19.”

City Alderman Raymond Lopez, a Democrat but a frequent critic of the mayor, was apparently unimpressed with Lightfoot’s announcement, blasting the new project as a hollow attempt at pandering.

“Don’t be fooled – this ‘declaration’ is NOT about racism,” he wrote in a Facebook post. “It is about giving comfort to the ‘White Guilt’ crowd that she needs to support her as our city descends further into chaos.”

Otherwise, if she cannot continue to stoke their wokeness, they will abandon her immediately like every other demographic in Chicago.

Big Brother spy agency claims ‘extremism’ is Germany’s new virus… but it’s only the far-right variant it seems to be worried about

Published: 16 Jun 2021 | 16:37 GMT

From Russia Today

An unexpected side effect of the pandemic has been Germans’ lurch to political extremes, with data collected by spying on a docile public showing an almost even split between ideologies. So why is the left not being demonised?

One of the problems public health officials face with treating Covid-19 is that it presents in so many ways, and the increasing number of variants all have their own characteristics – high temperature, continuous cough, loss of taste and smell, and in Germany’s case, apparently, a tendency towards political extremism.

That’s what Germany’s domestic intelligence agency, the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) has found, as the numbers of those involved in political extremism at both ends of the spectrum have soared to record levels, thanks, they believe, to a hardening of attitudes caused by the pandemic.

And while in broad terms, that might be alarming, what some might find more concerning is the extent to which the BfV is clearly spying on its citizens. From anti-lockdowners like the Querdenkers (Lateral Thinkers) to more mainstream organisations such as the country’s largest opposition party, Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), the message to all Germans is unmistakable: Big Brother is watching.

The very specific data announced by Interior Minister Horst Seehofer and the BfV president, Thomas Haldenwang, indicates monitoring far and above that of simply performing headcounts at climate marches or rowdy protests outside the Reichstag.

The report found that the number of right-wing extremists grew by 3.8% to 33,300 people last year, and that almost 40% of them were “violent, willing to use violence or supportive of violence.” Meanwhile, on the extreme left, there was an increase of 3% in 2020 to 34,300 people – a handy thousand more – so they now outnumber those deemed far right.

But that doesn’t mean the focus has shifted, because crime among the far left, however, was less prevalent, with 6,632 reported offences as opposed to 23,604 crimes linked to the far right.

Extremists of all hues have used, as cover, the street marches and protests that have taken place across Germany over the last 18 months, following widespread discontent at the way the government has handled the pandemic.

Seehofer said that while demonstrations organised by the far right were often called off, extremists would shift their allegiance to authorised marches and attempt to infiltrate them in order to further their own objectives. He said mainstream protesters often failed to spot the extremists in their midst, while he also warned that far-left extremists were moving away from large-scale demonstration-type events into more clandestine, small group activities using violence.

And that is also a trend on the right, as the identification of fragmented groups there might suggest. There was a 5% boost last year in the numbers of so-called Reich citizens, a nutjob hotchpotch of conspiracy theorists, anti-Semites, and racists who reject the state and insist instead that the 1919 Weimar Constitution remains in effect. Their numbers now stand at around 20,000 according to the report, with 10% of those considered to be prone to violence. While often compared to neo-Nazis, they are actually ridiculed by them, who consider their views beyond the pale.

Not short of these off-the-wall fringe groups to worry about, the BfV annual report also identified, for the first time, the ‘New Right’ which Haldenwang described as a “breeding ground” for right-wing extremism which provided the “ideological justification” for right-wing extremists, for example, to resist an alleged “re-population.”

German politicians can heckle the AfD as Nazis, or they can work with them… not both

Hmm. Maybe this is where partisan politics creeps into the conversation. The head of the intelligence service has spoken recently of right-wing extremism as the “greatest threat to our security and our democracy,” and pointedly commented in announcing the new report on opposition party AfD’s problems, with its now-dissolved radical ‘The Wing’ and rowdy Junge Alternative youth organisation.

Both he and the government minister by his side must have been aware of the recent analysis of the Saxony-Anhalt regional election, which found that while the Christian Democrats won the day, if the result had been solely decided on by the votes of under-30s, then AfD would have been clear winners.

However, in creating in the public’s mind an inextricable link between extremism and right-wing ideology, while making no such claims for the left, the demonisation of the right ut totum continues in the public conversation. When those in charge decide what is and isn’t extremism, then it’s easy to portray as ‘extremist’ someone who simply doesn’t share your views.

As leading AfD Euro MP Gunnar Beck told, “No other western state has an organisation that has as comprehensive a remit to monitor the activities of its entire population as the German Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. It can do what it likes.”

And that means making the rules. Beck explained, “The BfV once limited itself to political activities that were expressly designed to overthrow the political order in Germany. Nowadays, by a combination of judicial activism and executive interpretation not checked by the courts, they’ve interpreted the term ‘unconstitutional’ to include any activity that is questioning a woke interpretation of the German constitution.

“So you have things like the recent report about the coronavirus that said that anyone who tries to delegitimise any of the institutions of the Federal Republic is acting unconstitutionally.

“Any view that’s broadly conservative – I wouldn’t even say right wing – on social issues and migration, anything that’s aimed at skewering the survival of the nation state in any recognisable form, is now regarded as unconstitutional.”

That means as the BfV is now applying a broader definition of ‘unconstitutional’ to an increasingly pandemic-weary public, more people are attracting their attention for expressing views outside its interpretation of what it is permitted and are being labelled as extreme. It must be exhausting, but is the sort of job the intelligence services thrive on.

Yet as Beck said, “There is a tendency in Germany, I’m afraid, where people love just keeping an eye on what their neighbours are doing.

“Germany has 19 intelligence services; three at federal level and one for each of the regions. No other state anywhere in the world has quite as many. The GDR (Former East Germany) got by with two.”

With a relish for the task, Germany’s spooks are doing a thorough job monitoring a largely docile public as their exactitude clearly demonstrates. But as long as they continue to widen the definition of what falls under the umbrella of what constitutes extremism, it will continue to flourish, even after the pandemic recedes.

The problem is not with the German people becoming more radicalised, it is with the intelligence chiefs watching over them deciding they don’t agree with the way they think.

Comedian Raided by FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force After Jewish Organization Takes Offense to His Jokes

DR. LLOYD'S NOTE: And once more we have proof to why I promote violence!! Look, folks, the JOG will come for you no matter how legal you are. Might as well go out killing a few of the bastards....

Comedian Raided by FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force After Jewish Organization Takes Offense to His Jokes

A social media comedian was arrested in an explosive FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force raid yesterday morning.

Paul N. Miller, a 32-year-old Romani entertainer who uses the moniker "GypsyCrusader," was snatched from his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida ostensibly over committing a gun offense three years ago.

Neighbors expressed that they were more terrorized by the brutality of the FBI's militarized arrest, which included tossing flashbangs into his room, than at Miller's behavior, which was described as low key.

Miller has grown in fame in recent months for dressing up like The Joker and making politically incorrect jokes about race and sex on the chat app Omegle. He uses a number of props in his act, including a clown gun that fires a flag that says "nigger."

Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Jewish activist group the Anti-Defamation League, took to social media to brag about his group's role in directing the FBI's resources. Greenblatt presented the arrest as retaliation for "harassing users on Omegle with racism."

According to the FBI's criminal complaint, Miller is accused of being a felon who possessed a firearm on January 17, 2018. The indictment does not give any details about this three year old gun charge. Miller was convicted of selling drugs more than a decade ago.

A source familiar with Miller's case told National Justice that the charge may stem from a gun safety class he allegedly took in 2018. One does not need to be a firearm owner to take such classes. The charges are specious and politically motivated.

The ADL does not shy away from flagrant hypocrisy on the question of trafficking in racial humor, it only opposes it when an out-group uses it. On the day before Miller's arrest, Greenblatt took to social media to wish "mazel tov" to Sasha Baron Cohen, an ADL member whose claim to fame is dressing up in costumes and racially abusing strangers on the street for mean-spirited laughs.

According to court documents, Miller's supposed gun crime took place locally to his residence in Broward County, which begs the question of why he is being federally charged. The timing of FBI Director Christopher Wray's Congressional testimony on "domestic terrorism" on the same day likely played a role in this ridiculous theater.

If convicted, Miller faces up to 10 years in prison. He is scheduled for a hearing in the Broward County federal court later today.

Dean Morrice described by judge as "dangerous neo-Nazi" who pumped out "racist propaganda" online.

A former Ukip member who posted alleged "violent racist, antisemitic and Islamophobic" propaganda online and collected the means for making bombs has been jailed for 18 years.

Dean Morrice had ball bearings, pipes and instructions for an improvised explosive device (IED) by the time his home was raided last year, and the judge at Kingston crown court said it was "fortunate" that police arrested him when they did.

"You have described yourself as a patriot. You are not a patriot, you are a dangerous neo-Nazi, your bigotry and hatred is abhorrent to the overwhelming majority in this country," Judge Peter Lodder said.

He said "it was clear that Morrice revered those responsible for massacres in New Zealand and Norway and the bombing of a US government building Oklahoma, and had attempted to fool the jury into thinking he was a caring family man."

Morrice, 34, of Paulton, near Bristol, who worked for a time for the army, was convicted last week of 10 counts related to terrorism and explosives, all of which he denied.

He ran a Telegram channel that prosecutors said had "unapologetically, unambiguously pumped out neo-Nazi propaganda that encouraged the killing of people of colour and Jewish people."

A previous hearing was told that Morrice had made a video of himself strumming along on a guitar to footage of the 2019 Christchurch anti-moslem attacks.

Lodder said Morrice had shown no remorse. "You attempted to fool the jury into thinking that you are a family-orientated, caring man who was simply trying to find friends. In the witness box you cried as you spoke of missing your own children. Yet you revelled in the Christchurch mosque massacre in which children as young as three years old were murdered, and glorified Brevijk who slaughtered more than 30 children in Norway."

Rochus Misch, Adolf Hitler's Loyal Bodyguard

Rochus Misch, Adolf Hitler's Loyal Bodyguard

Rochus Misch, who served as Adolf Hitler's devoted bodyguard for most of World War II and was the last remaining witness to the great german leader's final hours in his Berlin bunker, has died few years ago.

He was 96 and died in Berlin after a short illness. Misch remained proud to the end about his years with Hitler, whom he affectionately called "boss." In a 2005 interview with The Associated Press, Misch recalled Hitler as "a very normal man" and gave a riveting account of the Führer's last days before he and his wife Eva Braun killed themselves as the Soviet Red Army closed in around their bunker in Berlin.

"He was no brute. He was no monster. He was no superman," Misch said.

Born July 29, 1917, in the tiny Silesian town of Alt Schalkowitz, in what today is Poland, Misch was orphaned at an early age. At age 20, he decided to join the SS — an organization that he saw as a counterweight to a rising threat from the left. He signed up for the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, a unit that was founded to serve as Hitler's personal protection.

"It was anti-communist, against Stalin — to protect Europe," Misch said. "I signed up in the war against Bolshevism, not for Adolf Hitler."

But when Germany invaded Poland on Sept. 1, 1939, Misch found himself in the vanguard, as his SS division was attached to a regular army unit for the blitzkrieg attack.

Misch was shot and nearly killed while trying to negotiate the surrender of a fortress near Warsaw, and he was sent to Germany to recover. There, he was chosen in May 1940 as one of two SS men who would serve as Hitler's bodyguards and general assistants, doing everything from answering the telephones to greeting dignitaries.

Misch and comrade Johannes Hentschel accompanied Hitler almost everywhere he went — including his Alpine retreat in Berchtesgaden and his forward Wolf's Lair headquarters.

He lived between the Fuehrer's apartments in the New Reich Chancellery and the home in a working-class Berlin neighborhood that he kept until his death.

"He was a wonderful boss," Misch said. "I lived with him for five years. We were the closest people who worked with him ... we were always there. Hitler was never without us day and night."

In the last days of Hitler's life, Misch followed him to live underground, protected by the  Fuehrerbunker's heavily reinforced concrete ceilings and walls.

"Hentschel ran the lights, air and water and I did the telephones — there was nobody else," he said. "When someone would come downstairs we couldn't even offer them a place to sit. It was far too small."

After the Soviet assault began, Misch remembered generals and NS brass coming and going as they tried desperately to cobble together a defense of the capital with the ragtag remains of the German military.

He recalled that on April 22, two days before two Soviet armies completed their encirclement of the city, Hitler said: "That's it. The war is lost. Everybody can go."

"Everyone except those who still had jobs to do like us — we had to stay," Misch said. "The lights, water, telephone ... those had to be kept going but everybody else was allowed to go and almost all were gone immediately."

However, Hitler clung to a report — false, as it turned out — that the Western Allies had called upon Germany to hold Berlin for two more weeks against the Soviets so that they could battle communism together.

"He still believed in a union between West and East," Misch said. "Hitler liked England — except for (then-Prime Minister Winston) Churchill — and didn't think that a people like the English would bind themselves with the communists to crush Germany."

On April 28, Misch saw Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels and Hitler confidant Martin Bormann enter the bunker with a man he had never seen before.

"I asked who it was and they said that's the civil magistrate who has come to perform Hitler's marriage," Misch said. That night, Hitler and longtime mistress Eva Braun were married in a short ceremony.

Two days later, Misch saw Goebbels and Bormann talking with Hitler and his adjutant, SS Maj. Otto Guensche, in the bunker's corridor.

"I saw him go into his room ... and someone, Guensche, said that he shouldn't be disturbed," Misch said. "We all knew that it was happening. He said he wasn't going to leave Berlin, he would stay here."

"We heard no shot, we heard nothing, but one of those who was in the hallway, I don't remember if it was Guensche or Bormann, said, 'Linge, Linge, I think it's done,'" Misch said, referring to Hitler's valet Heinz Linge.

"Then everything was really quiet ... who opened the door I don't remember, Guensche or Linge. They opened the door, and I naturally looked, and then there was a short pause and the second door was opened... and I saw Hitler lying on the table like so," Misch said, putting his head down on his hands on his living-room table.

"And Eva lay like so on the sofa with knees up, her head to him."

Misch ran up to the chancellery to tell his superior the news and then back downstairs, where Hitler's corpse had been put on the floor with a blanket over it.

"Then they bundled Hitler up and said 'What do we do now?'" Misch said. "As they took Hitler out ... they walked by me about three or four meters away. I saw his shoes sticking outside the sack."

An SS guard ran down the stairs and tried to get Misch to watch as the two were covered in gasoline and set alight. "He said, 'The boss is being burned. Come on out,'" Misch recalled. But instead Misch hastily retreated deeper into the bunker to talk with comrade Hentschel.

"I said 'I saw the Gestapo upstairs in the ... chancellery, and it could be that they'll want to kill us as witnesses,'" Misch said. But Misch stuck to his post in the bunker — which he described as "a coffin of concrete" — taking and directing telephone calls with Goebbels as his new boss until May 2, when he was given permission to flee.

Goebbels, he said, "came down and said: 'You have a chance to live. You don't have to stay here and die.'" Misch grabbed the rucksack he had packed and fled with a few others into the rubble of Berlin.

Working his way through cellars and subways, Misch decided to surface after hearing German being spoken above through an air ventilation shaft. But the voices came from about 300 soldiers who had been taken prisoner, and the Soviet guards grabbed him as well.

Following the German surrender May 7, Misch was taken to the Soviet Union, where he spent the next nine years in prisoner of war camps before being allowed to return to Berlin in 1954. He reunited with his wife Gerda, whom he had married in 1942 and who died in 1997, and opened up a shop.

At age 87, when he talked with the AP, Misch still cut the image of an SS man, with a rigid posture, broad shoulders and neatly combed white hair. He stayed away from questions of guilt or responsibility for the so-called "Holocaust", saying he knew nothing of "the murder of 6 million Jews".

French, British and American Soldiers Raped almost One Million German Women after World War II

French, British and American Soldiers Raped almost One Million German Women after World War II

A German historian estimates in her book that French, British and American soldiers raped 860,000 Germans at and after the end of the WW2, including 190,000 sexual assaults by American soldiers.

(The Local)

Professor Miriam Gebhardt's book When the Soldiers Came includes interviews with victims, stories of the children of rape and research that she conducted over the course of a year and a half into birth records in Allied-occupied West Germany and West Berlin.

“Now, 70 years after the war, it's long past the time when one could be suspected of dealing with German victimhood,” Gebhardt, an author and lecturer at the University of Konstanz, told The Local.

“There is no longer the question that one might want to relativize the responsibility of the Germans for the Second World War and the Holocaust.”

Gebhardt said she arrived at that number of sexual assaults by estimating that of the so-called ‘war-children’ born to unmarried German women by the 1950s, five percent were products of rape.

She also estimates that for each birth, there were 100 rapes, including of men and boys.

Gebhardt’s numbers are higher than previous estimates. A well-received 2003 book by American professor of criminology J. Robert Lilly, Taken by Force, estimated that American soldiers committed around 11,000 rapes in Germany.

While an article published by Der Spiegel on Monday raised questions about whether Gebhardt’s figures accurately reflected the incidence of sexual assault in post-war Germany, Lilly told The Local that her estimates were certainly reasonable.

“Gebhardt’s numbers are plausible, but her work is not a definitive account,” said Lilly in an interview with The Local, explaining that no exact number could ever be known because of a lack of records.

“It is confirmation of research that I have done and it adds to this ongoing discussion of what happens in the underbelly of war - What goes on that we haven’t talked about.”

Much of the discussion of sexual assaults against Germans has focused on the Soviet troops in east Germany, who are estimated to have committed between one to two million rapes during the time.

Gebhardt said she wanted to challenge the assumption that it was only the Red Army that was responsible for such acts.

“Goebbels warned that the Red Army would rampage through Germany, would rape German women and commit atrocities against civilians... People hoped that they would be occupied by Western troops and not the Soviets,” she said.

“But the course of events was the same. Both sides plundered valuables and mementoes, and soldiers often committed gang rapes against women.”

Gebhardt’s research also included records from Bavarian priests recording the Allied advance in 1945, including one description that reads “the saddest event during the advance were three rapes, one on a married woman, one on a single woman and one on a spotless girl of 16-and-a-half. They were committed by heavily drunken Americans."

The book paints a much darker picture than what is often seen in cinema and literature of the Allied troops who liberated Germans from the Nazi regime and thus could take time for people to fully absorb, Lilly said.

“It will be resisted to some extent. There are American scholars who will not like it because they may think it will make the war crimes committed by the Germans less bad,” Lilly said.

“I don’t think it will minimize what the Germans did at all. It will add another dimension to what war is like and it will not diminish that the Allies won.”

That chimes with Gebhardt's attitude to her work, which she says aims simply to expose the horror of such actions in war.

"War actions that led to the defeat of Germany, the defeat of the Nazi regime, are a different question than the rapes, which were more personal and served no military purpose," Gebhardt said. "Rapes can't decide a war.

The rapes "lasted for years, not just at the moment of the conquest," she added.

"They weren't just part of the violence that took place in the last weeks and days of the war, but continued for years."
